Data deletion instructions
Last updated 8 September 2026
This page explains how to have data deleted that Statonic holds about you, whether it came through statonic.com or through one of the social accounts our publishing system connects to (Instagram, YouTube or TikTok). What we hold and why is described in the privacy policy.
1. If you connected an account
Remove Statonic from the platform first: Instagram under Settings, Website permissions, Apps and websites; Google under your account's security settings; TikTok under Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Apps and services. That revokes our token immediately. We delete the stored token and the profile details we received with it within 7 days. If you also want the record of what was published through the system removed, ask us using the steps in section 3.
2. If you commented on or messaged a connected Instagram account
If you commented a keyword on one of our connected accounts and received a reply, we hold the comment id and text, your Instagram username and id, and whether you tapped the button or a link. These events are deleted automatically after 90 days. To have them removed sooner, ask us using the steps in section 3 and include the Instagram username you commented from.
3. How to ask
Use the contact formon the homepage and put “delete my data” in the message, with the email address, Instagram username or account you want removed. We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 14 days. We may keep a minimal record where the law requires it or where it is needed to settle a payment, and we will tell you if that applies.
4. Meta app deletion callbacks
If you remove the Statonic app from your Instagram or Facebook account, Meta may show you a confirmation code and a link to this page. You do not need to do anything further: removal revokes our access, and the steps above cover everything else we hold.
